Halloween Costume-- Part II
I found some dresses!!! The dress that I am going to wear is quite interesting. It definitely has an 80's feel.
I'll post show pictures when I get home from work....the day can't end fast enough!!

Halloween Costume
For Halloween this year my husband is going as a member of Spinal Tap and his friends are making up the rest of the group. (They are a goofy bunch so it will look quite amusing!!) I really had no idea what they were all about...he is more into music then I am. So anyway, I was watching some movie/video of them....and I saw a crazy blonde in classic 80's wear. And I thought.... I'll just go as a groupie. All I need is a vintage dress, some purple tights and funky boots. I might get a wig or some hair extensions. I am going to "wing" my hair out. I haven't forgotten how to do that~
It will be fun..I'll post some pictures of the outfit I find tomorrow. Hopefully I won't spend hours searching for it!!!

Book of Essays?

I just recently read the book "I Was Told There'd Be Cake" by Sloane Crosley.
I never never read essays. There are just not my cup of tea. It did take me a few essays to get into the collection, but once I did, I finished it very quickly. My favorite essay was "You on a Stick." I could definitely relate about the misfortunes of being a bridesmaid. There were some really good cringe-worthy moments in it that were quite humorous.
I am glad that I expanded my reading genre-- a lot of fiction is what I normally go for. This was a fast and enjoyable read and I look forward to other work by her.
