Well I did it. I joined a meet up group called: Ladies, Short Stories, and Cocktails! They meet once a month on a Thrs. night. I am going in early October. Very excited. We are reading stories by John Cheever. I haven't started them yet but I plan to get through them shortly. The first thing that popped in my head though was the Seinfeld episode called the Cheever's letters. Kramer burned down Susan's Dad cabin and all was left was the Cheever letters...yeah I digress. But that's what came to mind right away.
I joined some other meet-up groups...one about cooking, another girl social and one about coffee and chocolate. Hopefully I will have a bunch of upcoming adventures soon and I get out of the house more.
